Located in a historic neighborhood in the Lower Greenville area, the house was built primarily as in investment property. The plan was designed to accommodate the limited width of the site, yet provide as much living area possible. The owners requested an open plan design with a large kitchen and upper level game room. The ground floor is organized around a central axis that provides an uninterrupted line of site from the entry to the great room at the far end of the house. A winding staircase at the entry leads to a front game room that offers excellent views of the surrounding neighborhood.
