The owners of a fifty year old mid-century modern house wanted a complete rebuild of the  kitchen, breakfast room, and powder bath. The original kitchen space was substantially enlarged and opened to the family room. An interior wall separating the kitchen and breakfast room was removed. This allowed natural light into the centrally located kitchen from the large breakfast room windows. The adjacent powder bath was also completely remodeled with new fixtures, finishes, and cabinets.
